Setting Processor Affinity
The Processor Affinity setting controls which CPUs the process will be allowed to execute on.

1. Right click anywhere on an empty Taskbar and select Start Task Manager or Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and select Start Task Manager.
2. Click Process tab, right-click a process and select Set Affinity...
3. By default, All Processor are selected. If you want to only allow a certain CPU to process a particular process then check either CPU 0 or CPU 1. Click OK
NOTE: Setting Processor Infinity only available if you have more than one CPU. Also you must do this each time if you decided to open up another process like IE. The setting is for that particular process only. The setting is lost once the process is close out.
