Cupressus leylandii gold rider is a vigorous evergreen conifer in dense, upright and tight growth habit. It features a splendid golden yellow scale-like leaves with lime green underneath. Yellow shade remains radiant and lovely all year round. It grows 35 ft tall at maturity and spread 15 ft wide in 10 years. Full sun is best for this variety to cultivate well but tolerates partial shade. It prefers rich,moist, any well-drained soil. It can be an excellent choice for hedging, specimen and screening.
