Gunshots in Yerevan, one person hospitalized with serious wounds
Shots were heard in Yerevan's Aram Khachatryan Street this night when an unknown person shot three times in the direction of resident Samvel S. The latter was hospitalized with serious gun wounds, hayeli.am reports.
The source adds that Head of Hayeli ("Mirror") Press Club Anzhela Tovmasyan and MP of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Naira Zohrabyan live at the same address where Samvel S. was wounded.
Samvel said that on Tuesday night he noticed an unknown person [of about 40] near the entrance to Aram Khachatryan 4, with a black bag in his hand. After Samvel approached him and began to make inquiries, the unknown man started to push him and shot him three times.
Samvel will undergo a second surgery today. Doctors describe his condition as satisfactory.
