This Fiat 850 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1967 Fiat 850 Spider is finished in blue over black vinyl and powered by an 843cc inline-four paired with a rebuilt four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, 13″ Cromodora wheels, and a Nardi steering wheel. The car was purchased by the seller on BaT in June 2019 and was offered by the seller on BaT in June 2020. Maintenance during current ownership includes rebuilds of the transaxle and front brake calipers as well as replacement of the clutch, shifter linkage, horns, choke cable, tie rods, and rear shocks. This 850 Spider is now offered at no reserve with recent service records, a tonneau cover, a tool kit, spare interior door panels, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the name of the seller and his wife listing it as a 1965 model.

The Giugiaro-designed, Bertone-built body was repainted in Azzuro (light blue) under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers and trim, a driver-side mirror, and a black vinyl soft top. Cromodora 13″ magnesium wheels wear 145/80 Vredestein Quatrac 2 tires. Brake work in 2020 included a rebuild of the front calipers, replacement of the brake lines, and a brake fluid flush. The tie rods and rear shocks were replaced in 2020, and the handbrake cable was re-routed in June 2021.

The cabin features black vinyl seats that were reupholstered under previous ownership, matching carpets, replacement sun visors, and wood veneer dash panels. The dash top is cracked and covered by carpet mat.

A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles, 270 of which were added under current ownership. The Pennsylvania title lists an odometer reading of 18,983, which is said to have been a clerical error. Total mileage is unknown.

The rear-mounted 843cc inline-four features a 30mm Weber carburetor. The choke cable was replaced in 2019.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in 2020 when the shifter linkage hardware and bolts were also replaced. The clutch is said to have been replaced in October 2020, and the shifter linkage lollipop was replaced and the clutch cable was adjusted in preparation for the sale.
