On Tuesday evening, Ferenc Gyurcsány, president of the DK, gave an interview to the internet channel of left-wing activist Márton Gulyás - financed from America. During the rather long conversation, which took place in a friendly style, the fallen ex-prime minister once again proved that he is the leader of the left, but at the same time he does not take any responsibility for the failed election. He didn't mention Péter Márki-Zay's name, but he still made it clear how bad his opinion was of him - at least in hindsight - and he also hinted that Gergely Karácsony would not be the next candidate for mayor. It seems that the American sponsors are still paying: now precisely because their propagandist, Márton Gulyás, is trying to wash Gyurcsány clean.

DK president Ferenc Gyurcsány explained the defeat of the left with the primary election. In the interview, he stated that the primary election was "a misunderstanding" and that he first thought that it was "a big problem" when Márki-Zay won it (that is, the election is good as long as Gyurcsány wins). "I was full of doubts", "I watched with great disappointment what the candidate did", said the DK leader, who

HE DIDN'T EVEN CALL MÁRKI-ZAY BY HIS NAME, RATHER HE JUST TITLED ME "MIR CANDIDATE".

As he said, the opposition has been "wandering" for years and "does a lot of stupid things in the meantime". Whatever this means, Gyurcsány immediately stated: the DK is not responsible for this, but honestly.

As he said, it was the express request of opposition prime minister candidate Péter Márki-Zay to stay out of the campaign. In the interview, the DK president remarked with a sense of hurt - although he tried to deny this hurt - that if the candidate wants "that we should not be in it, that's perfectly fine". He also confirmed that he does not mind that neither he nor the DK candidate, his wife, stood behind Márki-Zay on the stage on the night of the election failure.

A historical political mistake that we committed with the role of Mr. Candidate, contrary to my intentions and convictions - Ferenc Gyurcsány repeatedly deflected the responsibility regarding the person of Márki-Zay. He called the campaign a schizophrenic situation, although based on the above, this adjective could have been more appropriate for the opposition coalition...

In his wife's recently established shadow government, he does not want to be a member of the government, he stated, referring to the fact that he was already prime minister. He called his previous sports ministry an obvious "joke".

WHETHER IT WAS A JOKE OR NOT, AS NUMEROUS POLITICAL ANALYSTS ACCORD, GYURCSÁNY LAUNCHED THE COUP AGAINST THE PRIME MINISTER PÉTER MEDGYESSY IN THIS POSITION IN THIS POSITION, AND LATER TOOK HIS PLACE.

"Klára will be an excellent prime minister of the country from 2026 or before," he expressed his opinion, adding: "We will lead this country." However, an important question is what is the first person plural, if he does not intend to be a member of the "Dobrev government". All of this, confirming several other statements (e.g. "who wants to politicize against Gyurcsány"), can be interpreted in one way:

FERENC GYURCSÁNY CONSIDERS HIMSELF THE LEADER OF THE LEFT - BUT RATHER THE KING.

The latter is indicated by the fact that during the conversation he called himself "Ferenc Gyurcsány" or "Gyurcsány" several times, which is quite unusual from the mouth of a politician.

He explained that he envisions the change of government through elections, because "the revolution is only beautiful as long as the other person's blood flows", Ferenc Gyurcsány explained his somewhat unusual position. (In 2006, he shot into a peaceful crowd - other people's blood flowed. Of course not his and hers! - ed.)

The president of the DK considers his party strong - the question is, of course, why they didn't launch an independent list - he is so sure that the DK is the strongest bastion of the left that he declared: "the DK is not afraid to use its power". He didn't even try to deny that "the DK is trying to organize the opposition parties itself".

Referring to the "strength" of his party, or to the fact that he is the real leader of the left, he also made it clear: he will have a say in whether Gergely Karácsony receives support for the restart. He also felt that his "word" would not necessarily be supportive

THAT IS, AS THE LEADER OF THE LEFT, HE OBVIOUSLY WANTS TO DECIDE.

In answer to Márton Gulyás's question, he explained, without saying it, but clearly describing it, that he was not satisfied with the mayor of Budapest. "What I would tell you would not be good for him," he told the interviewer.

He also went on to say that - in contrast to the DK, which he himself considers to be "strong", Gergely Karácsony is the former president of a "rather small party, which will not have a decisive majority in the next general assembly in the capital".

IN THE END, HE SAID AS MUCH AS POSSIBLY GRANDLY: NO ONE WOULD CHALLENGE HIM.
