Another small car from Fiat, built from 1964-73, replacing the Fiat 600. The 2 door Saloon was available in Standard with 843cc 34hp or 'Super' with 37hp, the Special, introduced in 1968, got disc brakes and improved trim. The 850 Coupe was introduced in 1965, standard with 47hp 843cc. Also for 1965 was the 850 Spyder, body designed and built by Bertone with 49hp 843cc. In 1968, engine capacity was increased on the Coupe and Spyder to 903cc, the Spyder also got a new front, recessed headlamps replaced with protruding frog eye look. The 850 Familiare was a van that could carry 7 passengers |
