Description
English: The so-called Gömböc (Nr. 1825), designed by Gábor Domokos and Péter Várkonyi, is the first known homogenous object with one stable and one unstable equilibrium point. Picture made at the Presidential Office at the HAS.
Magyar: Domokos Gábor és Várkonyi Péter találmánya, a Gömböc. Ez az első ismert homogén test, amelynek egy stabil és egy instabil, azaz összesen két egyensúlyi pontja van. A képen látható 1825-ös számú Gömböc (védőüvegben) az MTA Elnöki Irodájánál található.
