Multi monitor an extra dock appears in the middle of secondary monitor [Ubuntu 20.04 Gnome 3.36.3] #1275

Second monitor connected by HDMI, Dash-to-dock set to only display on Primary monitor but a second dash is shown in the middle of the secondary monitor. More frustrating is the extension shows as an error loading, but still takes over the Ubuntu dock.

Let me know if there is a log file and I will attach that as well

I have the same problem, got two docks on my second screen.
Current solution: Reboot with second screen plugged in

This is still a problem.

To avoid restarting, use the following workaround:
Alt + F2 to "Run a command", then enter r and press Enter to restart GNOME shell.

This is an extremely annoying behavior :( .
