For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1957 Fender Stratocaster, non tremolo model.

Few guitars are more iconic than the 1957 Fender Stratocaster, and the tone they produce has literally shaped popular music. This example bears a - serial number, something that Fender did for a very brief time in '57 and '58. This non-tremolo or hardtail Strat is in nice condition and is nearly original, having had its original bridge pickup reinstalled (It was in the case when we bought it). The pickguard has a crack that has been expertly reglued and is stable. The other bakelite parts are in good shape and the body is dated 3/57 and the neck is 4/57. The case is a newer Fender Tweed case that is in excellent shape. The setup is excellent on this guitar and the neck profile is terrific.

Hardtail Stratocasters have become increasingly popular with serious players in the past few years as the sustain is measurably increased and the weight, sans tremolo is decreased.

This is one fantastic playing Strat that has all the classic alder body and maple neck tones and attributes of a truly classic Stratocaster.
