Quick Overview:

A conical conifer that has smooth, flaking reddish bark and upright, sprays of scale-like, aromatic,  blue-gray needles. It develops globular cones which are chocolate brown. Prefers full sun, and thrives especially well in somewhat hot, dry environments. Makes a wonderful medium to large specimen tree. Has beautiful silvery blue color all year round. Great for use as a privacy screen, specimen or accent plant, wind break, or as a colorful back drop for other plants and flowers.

Description

Plant the blue ice cypress tree in an area with full to partial sun and good draining soil. The best soil for this tree is sandy or gravelly, so amend the soil with pea-sized gravel if it is too firm.
