The German Pzkpfwg. V Panther Ausf. A was introduced in August 1943 as an improvement over the previous Ausf D version. Designed to counter the Russian T-34, the Panther was highly mobile, well-armed, and effectively armored. This boxing of the Das Werk Panther Ausf. A represents an early production gun tank as would be seen in the Fall of 1943.
