An extremely hardy, columnar tree which although evergreen often takes on a subtle bronze hue in winter. Branches are spreading, upcurved at the tips; its folige rich emerald green, reminiscent of scales on a fish. Gorgeous, reddish-brown, peeling bark. Good on any well-drained soil. Good resistance to wind, no tolerance to paving. H7
