Merkava 4 (West)

Merkava 4 is the latest and most advanced main battle tank (MBT) in the Merkava series, developed and manufactured by Israel Military Industries. The Merkava 4 is primarily used by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and was first introduced in 2004.

The Merkava 4 is known for its excellent crew protection. It features advanced modular composite armour, including a layer of reactive armour, which provides enhanced protection against various threats such as anti-tank missiles, rockets, and other projectiles.

The tank is equipped with a 120mm smoothbore gun, capable of firing a wide range of ammunition, including kinetic energy penetrators and high-explosive rounds. It also has a secondary 7.62mm machine gun for anti-infantry and anti-aircraft purposes.

The Merkava 4 is powered by a 1,500 horsepower engine, providing it with excellent mobility and speed. It has a maximum road speed of around 64 kilometers per hour (40 mph) and an operational range of approximately 500 kilometers (310 miles).

The Merkava IV incorporates advanced technology, including a fire control system with thermal and day sights, laser rangefinders, and advanced computerized systems. It also has a battle management system that allows for effective coordination with other armoured units. The tank can be upgraded with additional protection, communication systems, and active protection systems to enhance its capabilities on the modern battlefield.

Included with the blueprint is a sample showcase/demo Blueprint featuring an environment map and a user interface (UI). When you “Play” the map, the UI provides camera presets, sliders, and buttons, showcasing the key functionalities of the Merkava 4.
