Glee is back! And so is Sunshine Corazon.

The foreign-exchange student, played by pop star Charice, arrived at McKinley High on the season 2 premiere as a talented addition to New Directions. But, it turned out, she was too talented for Rachel Berry, who sabotaged her by sending her to a crack house instead of glee club auditions. Sunshine decided she’d be better off as a part of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline.

On Tuesday’s episode – the first since March 15 – the New Directions kids are faced with the challenge of raising money for their trip to New York City and to help the Brainiacs get to the academic decathlon finals in Detroit. Instead of going with Mr. Schuester’s idea of selling taffy, Holly Holiday suggests selling tickets to a benefit concert of songs by “neglected artists.”

When Corazon gets wind of the “Night of Neglect” concert, she shows up at the school to offer to participate – and to bring along her 600 Twitter followers. Even though the New Directions kids think she’s a spy and the enemy, Corazon convinces them to let her show them what she’s got and she sings “the perfect song about neglect,” Celine Dion‘s “All By My Self.”

In the end, Sunshine’s director, the devious Dustin (who’s in cahoots with Sue Sylvester), won’t let her perform, and she pulls out of the benefit and takes her Twitter followers with her – leaving Tina, Holly and Mercedes to sing in front of all six people who show up.
