The Tulsa Sighthounds Association and the Trinity Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback Club are teaming up to bring an exciting event to dog enthusiasts nationwide. This December, they will host the 2023 AKC National Lure Coursing Championship, a thrilling competition that pits top-performing sighthound dogs against each other in a race to the finish line.
“Hold the dates! The 2023 NLCC will be held December 1–3, 2023, in beautiful Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the Wilkinson Ranch, a private property extended to us by a lovely couple. Also, believe it or not, we will have deeply discounted room rates at 2 host hotels for our volunteers as well as reduced rates for exhibitors. I think you will all find the property exquisite, and the city is being very welcoming to our event,” said Andrea Stone, the NLCC Chair. “More news to come, along with a planning meeting for all those that have generously volunteered to help this year!!!”
The Tulsa Sighthound Association (TSA) is a non-profit organization that holds various events for sighthounds. As a licensed club under the American Sighthound Field Association (ASFA) and the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Tulsa Sighthound Association is authorized to hold tests and trials under the respective organizations’ rules and regulations. The Trinity Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Texas is a group of dedicated individuals who share a love for the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. Their main objective is to provide owners and breeders of these dogs with a range of opportunities for sportsmanlike competitions, educational activities, fun doggie activities, and socializing with like-minded individuals who also share a passion for Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Whether it’s participating in competitions, learning more about the breed, or simply enjoying quality time with their dogs and fellow enthusiasts, the Trinity Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback Club strives to create a welcoming and supportive community for all who share a love for these magnificent dogs.
