This is not to entice you readers into going into Neobux (Its payout is rather paltry anyway ) but to share with you this online way of earning money. But after I found Steemit, in my opinion, this website is obsolete because of the rise of cryptocurrencies promising greater returns than investing in referrals clicking advertisements for you. I will lay out why as I go through this article. This is the time before I found Steemit as I was desperately wanting to earn money online because I read about people earning a living just by sitting at home using a laptop. I started using Neobux in the year 2013 as I was pursuing my Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Neobux sometimes called the “King of PTCs” was in operation for almost a decade but in my opinion is in danger of being faded away because of the rise of social media built on blockchain technology that pays a greater amount of money then PTCs. 2. Rented Referrals

Let’s look what is on the referrals page. In this page, we can see five columns and each of this column can be filtered according to your likeness. Each rented referral click four ads every day if we presume they are active. Sometimes, we must replace the referral with the new one if he does not click every day as it is not profitable to keep them. This action is called “recycling”. The users in Neobux used a bunch of strategies to keep their account profitable by recycling the referrals at the minimal. You need to find the balance between the levels of recycling. If you do not recycle at all, you are missing out on inactive rented referrals which you must certainly recycle. On the other hand, if you recycle too much, you will be at a loss because you spend too much of your funds. You spend 7 cents to recycle 1 referral. I will not get into the maths of Neobux as it will be complicated.

In the picture above, you will see on full display all the statistics you need to know. You did not need to calculate manually to know how much rented referrals clicks were credited for instance.

If you add up all the ads that you had clicked on the above photo, I will only earn $0.016. In a month, I will only get $0.48. Compare to Steemit, this is a pittance. In Steemit, it is not even a month and I had earned more than $50. You see the difference between Neobux and Steemit? Vast difference.

If you click on each ad, you will notice that you will receive an adprize for one ad. This adprize is the same as an ordinary ad but you did not receive money for clicking the adprize. There will be a probability that you will get a Golden Membership, some cents (10, 20 cents up to $50) and Neopoints (30000 of these points equal to one Golden Membership). You must click a lot of adprizes to receive even the points. Up to this day, I have yet to win the Golden Membership.

7. Games (You play games for a certain amount of time you get money)

Let’s move on. Neobux rewards its users for playing games for 2 minutes giving $0.001 and you can have up to 250 game sessions per 24 hours. Let’s do some Maths, shall we? We can only play 8 hours in 1 day. Pretty legit. In one month, you can earn $7.50. Wow. Not impressive at all.

8. Offers (Aside from clicking ads, you earn money by doing minijobs, doing tasks in return for coins and doing surveys)

You can complete offers here in Neobux and rewards you in NeoCoins. This is not a cryptocurrency. You need a minimum of 2500 coins equals to $2 before it can be cash out to money. You see in the picture above when you add up all the coins, it only totaled 810 coins, far from the target of 2500 coins. It is not worth it because I must pay real money to get coins and it far outweighs the benefits. It is a loss!

You can do minijobs to earn money here in Neobux but it is a very time-consuming process. You must read the instructions to do the job before you can execute. The other reason is the availability of minijobs. You cannot earn a consistent amount of money doing minijobs because of this. I earned only $15 a month. In Steemit, the platform is still in its infancy and you can build up your brand with consistent posting and commenting.
