The Rose Glow Barberry is a deciduous shrub that begins the season with new leaves that are a rich purple color. The new growth that is then produced is rose pink, mottled with bronze and purple. That purple colors takes over the leaves as they mature, while the continuing new growth during the season continues to be rose pink. This unique variety of barberry with its handsome foliage is a perfect mid range size plant for any garden. Also boasts attractive winter berries. Deer proof and free of pest and disease. Grows almost anywhere whatever the climate. This easily grown plant fits well into any style of garden and with its moderate height of around 5 ft. it also fits well into gardens of any size.
