Employee hospitalized after Audi crashes into Prince George's liquor store; driver flees

A store employee was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a liquor store in Prince George's County Friday night.

The employee suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Prince George's County Fire & EMS said.

The vehicle was occupied by three men. The driver lost control after striking a curb, then went airborne before it crashed into G.I. Liquors on Suitland Road in Morningside, Md., the Morningside Police Department said.

The driver and two passengers of the vehicle fled the scene, the Morningside Police Department added.

The vehicle, which Morningside police identified as an Audi, had not been reported stolen.
