First impression when I opened the box on this was "Oh, it's tiny!" so I was surprised that it works so well.
"How to use" easy instructions on the packaging got this working for me right away! Literally 3s (as it stated!) after I took it out of the sleeve it was in my phone recognized it and paired quickly.
This comes with lots of cabling options to connect it to audio amplifiers. Connected this to a set of computer speakers I've been using and to my daughter's car quickly and easily! I didn't have to search through my stockpile for any cables, just grabbed what was in the box and plugged it in.
Sound is clean and clear, I didn't notice any delays or stuttering like I've had with other bluetooth receivers.
I did have some problems using this as a transmitter from the headphone output from my tv (again, this came with all the cabling I needed for this!), but that was mainly because I was trying to get my AirPods to pair to it. Once I grabbed a couple of other bluetooth headsets it paired both quickly and sound was great.
Whether its for car or home use, this is definitely a great little bluetooth transmitter/receiver to handle just about any audio need you may have.

Nifty tool for private TV viewing
This is a really unique tool for changing the room filling sound of a TV to a private ear bud listening experience. My son’s father in law has poor hearing and likes to sleep with the TV on, so making it possible for him to watch TV without a long cord connected to the TV was strongly desired. The solution was to get this device and use it at the TV with the adapter plugged into the TV on the one side and powered via USB on the other side. And it works well for that, especially since I can connect a second bluetooth ear bud, headset, or speaker sound bar for others to use when they wish. The one thing to be aware of is that volume is set at the device where the adapter is connected (on the TV, soundbar, or Roku remote) so be sure you have a way to control the volume on whatever you use for your secondary sound source.We started by using this at the TV but quickly decided that it made the TV pretty much into a one person device, meaning it wasn’t as easily watched and listened to by others. So we transitioned to the newer Roku remote with a headphone jack and that has been much more convenient. First of all, it’s dead simple to disconnect the adapter so that sound comes from the TV or installed soundbar. That’s a huge benefit for others in the house. Moreover, it makes it really easy to turn on the TV for private listening by two others (given the adapter connects to two bluetooth devices). Third, it provides a degree of mobility that isn’t available with just the remote and a wired headset. With bluetooth earbuds I can go to the next room to get something and still keep listening.A few details worth noting are that the device is battery powered unless it is plugged in. On battery it will last the better part of a day (10-12 hours) but then it must be recharged using a micro-usb connector. It will recharge fully in about two hours. To turn it on or off you press and hold the power button for about three seconds. Also that same power button is used to initiate pairing with two short presses. The same goes for a second bluetooth device, two more short presses and it will search for and connect to a second device.If you’re running it on battery be sure you turn it off by holding the power button until the light goes off. Otherwise it will just keep searching for a bluetooth device and it will drain the batteryt.All in all, this is not a “must have” device, but it certainly has significant benefits in situations where private viewing and tailored volume control is desirable.
