Description
What makes this guitar special: This is an early Lemon Grove production model made with all solid tone woods, in great shape for its age & 100% original. The guitar offers wonderful charm & character along with a sweet, rich tone. Beautifully aged with a gorgeous patina & professionally set up by the vintage experts at Cream City Music!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with obvious signs of play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light weather checking. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it & plays great.
Neck: Mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Rosewood headstock overlay & truss rod cover with gold silkscreen Taylor logo. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. Most of the gold has worn off the buttons, but is still quite strong on the backs. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Dreadnought size body with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with 4-ply purfling. Rosewood bridge & end pins with compensated saddle. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with herringbone center strip. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 8.9 oz.
Case: Original brown hardshell case included.
