Description
What makes this guitar special: A super cool discontinued model, made for a short period in the late ‘90s, up until about 2001. This Big Apple Strat is ready to rock, with a set of Seymour Duncan humbuckers that sound absolutely fantastic. The smooth rosewood fingerboard is comfortable as can be, and this one has even been upgraded with a nice set of locking Schaller tuners, for easy restrings and better tuning stability. Professionally inspected and setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with some standard wear & tear throughout. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs, with some visible pickwear and surface level buckle rash. Tuners have been swapped for locking Schallers, and the frets show some light wear. Original tremolo cover is not included.
Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in candy apple red finish with 3-ply pearloid pickguard and two-point tremolo bridge.
Weight: 8 lb, 3.2 oz
Neck: C-shaped solid maple neck with aged white side dots and white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard is in awesome shape and frets show only light wear. Replacement Schaller locking tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck position, with Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge position. 3-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
