I'm A Celebrity star Jessica Plummer has filmed saucy scenes for the first time.

The former EastEnders actress got up close and personal with David Oyelowo while filming new drama The Girl Before.

Bosses brought in an “intimacy co-ordinator” to help her get it right.

Jessica said: “I’ve never done scenes of that nature before and so to have that support, knowing that I was safe, was great.

“I would describe it as a dance routine – you pick the beat and moves before the day of shooting so you can go over them and remember them in your head.

“So when it comes to it, you approach the scene with the same kind of markers.”

The actress, 29, got her big acting break in 2019 when she landed the role of Chantelle Atkins in BBC soap EastEnders.

Her character was tragically killed off in a domestic abuse plot, after her twisted husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) pushed her and she landed on an upturned knife.

Gray is still kicking around Albert Square, having also killed two more victims since then – Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi.

Jessica became a real household name in 2020 when she joined I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for its first ever series in Wales at Gwrych Castle.

She became the six celebrity to be eliminated, leaving the castle alongside Russell Watson.

Before acting though, the mum-of-one was a singer as a member of the girl group Neon Jungle.

The group supported Jessie J on tour and even performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Neon Jungle's second single Braveheart, taken from the album Welcome to the Jungle, peaked at No4 on the UK charts.

The girl band split up in July 2015 after their contract with RCA Records was terminated and they couldn't find a new label.

The Girl Before starts Sunday night at 9pm on BBC One.
