Thuja Plicata Atrovirens is a slow growing tree but produces a dense hedge or stand-alone specimen tree. This conifer boasts attractive reddish-brown bark and aromatic rich green foliage which hangs in drooping sprays. If unpruned this can grow to 30m (100”) in 40 years. However it is easily maintained at much lesser heights with regular pruning. Height: to 30m (100”)if left unpruned. Spread: to 9m (30”) if left unpruned.Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.Plant Thuja into any well-drained soil in full sun.
