Former President Barack Obama and his family reside in a $11.75 million worth lavish waterfront house situated on nearly 30 acres on Martha's Vineyard – a secluded island located south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
The massive 6,892-square-foot house spans nearly 30 secluded acres opposite the Edgartown Great Pond between Slough Cove and Turkeyland Cove, with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean.
The home built in 2001 by John Early, features seven bedrooms, eight and a half baths and several stone fireplaces. There is a two-car garage, a barn and a pool.
The property also includes direct access to the pond, and includes a boat house and a private beach front.
The pool area is simply marvellous, surrounded by trees and foliage.
The Obama house is designed with reacreation in mind – there's an expansive kitchen and a dining room with sprawling views across the bay.
The family room also has plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding.
