Bought to replace a 15 year old Grohe faucet that cost more than twice what this one did. Aside from the fact that this is made in China, rather than Germany, there appears to be little difference between them, either in appearance or initial quality. This faucet has a higher arc and a narrower spray pattern, which may or may not be to everyone's taste, The retractor mechanism for the pull-out head uses a weight on the hose, rather than a spring; unclear how this will hold up over time, Because we're on a well, I removed the flow restrictor at the connector end of the pull-out hose, which produced a dramatic difference in water pressure.
