North Arm Farm Wedding - Mike & Trudie

Mike and Trudie picked one of my favourite wedding venues in Pemberton - North Arm Farm, for their Wedding.

North Arm Farm is a stunning rustic venue at the base of Mount Currie in Pemberton. Anyone who loves nature and the outdoors will fall in love with this wedding venue. Just a short drive north of Whistler, North Arm Farm is a fully functioning organic produce farm with a variety of farm animals on site. The farm is open to the public daily and you can just stop by for an ice cream or head out into the fields to go berry picking.
North Arm Farm turns into the most spectacular wedding ceremony location - with options either outdoors in the meadow or if it’s raining you can use the rustic barn. The barn turns into the dance floor in the evening where you can chose a band or DJ to dance the night away! The beauty of this wedding location is it can cater to larger weddings and more intimate ones too.
North Arm Farm offers the most beautiful backdrop for wedding portraits. You can have close intimate photos by the willow trees - to jaw dropping mountain scenery with Mt Currie in the background.

I met Trudie at Mynt Salon for some photos of her and her bridesmaids getting their hair and make up done, we then went to a local property in Pemberton for some more getting ready photos - one of the flower girls was extra curious and pretty cute watching all the action - I love the photo of her peeking around the corner when Trudie is putting her dress on. Then it was onto North Arm Farm to catch up with Mike and his groomsmen for a few portraits.

August in Pemberton can be very warm and there was no exception for Mike and Trudie’s wedding day - the couple provided everyone with hand held fans to use during the ceremony.
Mike and Trudie exchanged vows at the foot of the magnificent Mt Currie, surrounded by all their closest friends and family. After the ceremony it was cocktail hour - a welcome refreshment in all the heat. The family formal photos were moved to the shade of the willow trees.

The beauty of North Arm Farm is all around, and you don’t have to leave the venue for wedding portraits. Beautiful sunflowers, open fields, willow trees, fruit vines and of course epic mountain backdrops.

Dinner was family style close to the barn with speeches happening throughout the meal. Once the evening commenced, Mike decided to surprise Trudie and teamed up with the band “Blame the Weekend” to sing a special song. The evening was so fun and everyone clearly had a fantastic day and night!
