When the time comes to move into a new home, a house blessing can be a great way to break it in with a celebration that also invites the presence of the Lord into the home. The house blessing service is a walk through each room of the house, where prayers appropriate to each room are offered. The service may include a celebration of The Holy Eucharist. It may also include a festive meal in celebration of the occasion.
