Malas are beautiful tools to be treated with care and respect. They are handmade to be worn and loved however they are not indestructible. Please be mindful around door knobs, car doors, pets, children, ect.

Malas are not meant to get wet as water will make the thread wear prematurely and react negatively with certain stones, so please avoid baths, showers, pools, ect.

Malas should be stored out of heat and direct sunlight.

It is a good idea to cleanse your mala regualrly. To do so you can burn sage, palo santo, charge it under a full moon, rest the mala on a piece of selenite, ect. This will reset the energy of the piece, and this practice could be preformed every full moon or as often as you feel necessary.

Should the THREAD on your mala break within 6 months I will repair it free of charge. If it has been longer than 6 months I will ask that you par a re-knotting fee. Please contact me immediately should this happen and I will arrange the shipping with you.

If the crystal or pendant is damaged and cannot be repaired there will be an additional fee required to replace the pendant and possibly a re-knotting fee if it has been past 6 months and the knot cannot be undone. If the pendant can be repaired I will repair it for free within 6 months of purchase. Please contact me for information on the repair.

If your mala arrives damaged in the mail please contact me within 48 hours of signing for the package with photos of the damaged item, photos of the package (front, back, and inside), and all of the contents of the package. Once I receive these I will file an insurance claim as all of the malas are shipped insured.

PLEASE DO NOT MAIL THE MALA BACK TO ME.

If you mail the mala back to me it will void the insurance claim and you will be ineligible for a refund. I will coordinate with you through etsy and once the insurance company has all of the information they need they will issue a refund. This process may take 1-2 weeks depending on how quickly we are able to submit the required information.

If you are returning a package to me for any reason please contact me first. Once we have arranged the return it is important that you ship your item with insurance and tracking back to me. Please keep the tracking number for your reference. I cannot be responsible for the mail carrier losing or damaging the item in transit back to me and should it arrive out of its original or pre-discussed condition you will have to file a claim with the mail service you used for a refund.

Oh no! First I’d like to apologize for your troubles. Sometimes, although rare, USPS runs into delivery issues. Please confirm you’ve selected shipping insurance when paying for shipping and then contact me. We will both submit a claim through USPS and do our best to find your package. Unfortunately in late cases I can not offer refunds or replacements for items misplaced by the postal service which is why shipping insurance or signature confirmation is strongly suggested for higher priced items.
