Viburnum tinus is an evergreen shrub that is easy to grow and makes for a beautiful garden all year round. It is native to the Mediterranean region. Viburnum tinus provides year-round color to the garden. It blooms from late winter to spring and has attractive evergreen foliage throughout the year. The Viburnum usually blooms with fragrant flowers from mid-winter to early spring. Because of its low maintenance, it grows well in most light conditions and is moderately drought tolerant. It is also a great plant to attract butterflies to your garden.
Care
The Viburnum Tinus does not really need pruning as it has a compact growth habit. To keep the plant in shape you can shorten the long shoots in spring and/or summer. Since the Viburnum is originally a Mediterranean plant, it prefers a more sunny location. However, the Viburnum will also grow if placed in the shade, but the shrub will produce fewer flowers.
Plant height
When delivered, the plants have a height of 25 to 40cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter/diameter of 17cm.
