Thuja occidentalis Fastigiata is a dense, evergreen, upright, conifer with a narrow conical to pyramidal habit.
It has yellowish green, aromatic foliage that grows in vertical sprays and turns bronze in autumn while producing tiny yellow/green cones that turn brown.
This makes an elegant feature in lawns and city courtyard gardens but is especially good for screening and hedging due to its wonderfully dense foliage.
Generally it is single trunked but can sometimes produce multiple trunks, making for a much broader footprint.
