I acquired this Hebe many years ago as a small off shoot from a friend. It has been very slow growing with pretty pale lavender flowers in the Spring. I seem to remember seeing a Hebe called 'Baby's Tears' which resembles my one but cannot find anything when doing a search. I would like to put it on Plant Stew but want to be accurate.
    Can anyone help please?

It looks like Hebe 'Baby Marie' (syn Hebe buxifolia 'Nana'.) Its flowers are lilac and appear in late spring to early summer.

Thanks Eileen, I have looked it up and I think this could be my one.

Looks like a beautiful plant, and thanks for sharing. I never heard of this plant before, and I'm sure they're not hardy here, but I was interested enough that I found a neat site with all kinds of info on them. You may want to check it out for yourself: http://www.hebesoc.org./hebes_atoz/hebes_atoz.htm

Thanks kaseylib. I have checked out the site and found what looks like my Hebe which I think confirms that Eileen was right. I am now hopefully able to put it on Plant Stew :stew1:
