This week Prince William and Kate Middleton are visiting the US for the first time in almost te10n years. The couple arrives in Boston on Wednesday, November 30, for a three-day trip that staffers are calling their Super Bowl moment, per People. The pair last visited New York City in 2014.

According to Kensington Palace, the Prince and Princess of Wales will kick off their historic trip by meeting with Boston mayor Michelle Wu. On Thursday they’ll stop by climate technology incubator Greentown Labs and urban violence nonprofit Roca Inc. On Friday the pair will briefly partly ways before reuniting for the trip’s main event: The Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony, which will air on PBS on December 5. During the day Prince William is scheduled to tour the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, where he’ll be accompanied by ambassador Caroline Kennedy. (Earthshot is a play on Kennedy’s “Moonshot” speech from 1962.) Princess Catherine, meanwhile, will pay a visit to the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.

The trip will culminate in the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, where William and Kate will be the guests of honor. In 2020, Prince William founded The Earthshot Prize to honor innovators in the realm of climate change science and action. Kate plans to hand out one of the five awards during Friday’s ceremony, and William will make the closing remarks. Other presenters will include comedian Catherine O’Hara and Big Little Lies actor Shailene Woodley. American pop princess Billie Eilish is set to perform during the ceremony, in addition to fellow artists Chloe x Halle, Annie Lennox, and Ellie Goulding. Memorably, in 2011, Lennox and Goulding performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding reception.

Per NBC’s Keir Simmons, there is no chance of the royal couple crossing paths with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the trip, despite the fact that the Sussexes will be in New York City only a week later to accept the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope award. Two days later, December 8, Harry and Meghan’s controversial docuseries will premiere on Netflix. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus, the series is expected to follow Meghan and Harry’s post-royal lives over the last two years.
