We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled NYFW Coverage To Bring You...This Photo Of Lady Gaga

What, you ask, could be dramatic enough to tear our attention away from the parade of pretty dresses and D-list celebrities currently clamoring for the title of "most exciting thing to happen at New York Fashion Week"? That'd be Lady Gaga, natch.

The pop queen took a little stroll through New York's meatpacking district the other night, wearing one of the season's big trends: Head-to-toe red. But Gaga being Gaga, she didn't just do the scarlet pumps and dress thing. She went all out with a pair of platforms that I'd give a rough visual estimate of about 12" high, some super-size puffy sleeves, and a pair of sunnies most of us would only use as dinner plates. And to top it all off, she struck a pose--right there in the middle of the crowded sidewalk!--that said, "yes darling, I'm fabulous, now, was there something else I could help you with?"

After weeks of relatively tame ensembles (remember her too-pretty-for-words Versace look?), we were starting to worry that perhaps Gaga has lost some of her outfit oomph, but along she comes to prove us wrong in this red hot number. It's good to have you back, my'Lady!
