As Kate Moss turns 50, we take a look at the supermodel's style transformation
She may be our Queen, but as she is yet to break into British monarchy Kate Moss only has one birthday a year. And - as luck would have it - it's this weekend.
Turning 50(!), our very own Miss Moss is also this year celebrating her 36th year in the industry having been discovered by Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Model Management, at JFK Airport at the age of just 14.
Almost four decades later, and she is still on just about every fashion vision board in the world.
The Croydon-born star quickly rose to fame, joining "The Big Five" original supermodels Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford and Tatjana Patitz - rendering them (drumroll please) "The Big Six".
She went on to score contracts with the likes of Calvin Klein, Burberry and Saint Laurent, was named Model of the Year at the 2006 British Fashion Awards and was honoured with a Special Recognition award at the 2013 ceremony to acknowledge her contribution to fashion during her 25-year career.
She has walked the runway for almost every major fashion house globally - including Saint Laurent, Prada, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Gucci, Chloe, Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton - despite being just 5"7'.
She has also landed the covetable cover spot of international Vogue magazines over 120 times, the most recent being British Vogue's December 2023 with her daughter Lila which marked 30 years after her first-ever cover shoot for the magazine in March 1993.
But it's not just Kate's professional portfolio that has had fashion fans swooning over the last three decades, with her personal style proving equally impressive.
A devoted lover of festivals and mega parties in equal measure, Miss Moss has wowed us with her outfits spanning every occasion from Studio 54-themed nights to mud-soaked days on Worthy Farm.
