The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen visiting floral tributes for Her Majesty, the Queen, at Sandringham on Thursday, 15 September.

Prince William and Princess Catherine arrived at the Royal Residence to view the tributes left for Her Majesty.

The Prince and Princess also took the time to talk with members of the public, who had arrived in a large crowd to greet the couple.

As part of their visit, Prince William and Princess Catherine took time to look at the many floral tributes that have been left at Sandringham to honour the life of her Majesty, the Queen, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 8 September.

At one point, the Prince of Wales was seen crouching down to take a more detailed look at the flowers and written notes that have been left to remember his grandmother, the Queen.

As the couple walked through greeting crowds and viewing the tributes, a particularly touching moment occurred when Prince William put a supportive arm around his wife, Princess Catherine.

Last week, in a tribute made by the Prince of Wales, William gave some insight into the relationship between his grandmother, the Queen, and his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales. Speaking about his grandmother, he said: "My wife has had twenty years of her guidance and support."

The Prince and Princes of Wales were in Sandringham as part of commemorations for Her Majesty, the Queen. At the same time, the Earl and Countess of Wessex visited tributes left in Manchester, while Anne, Princess Royal, visited Glasgow.

Her Majesty's state funeral is taking place on Monday, 19 September.
