Junipers are popular, evergreen conifers that are 100% maintenance-free plants that will grow almost anywhere. There are plentiful of varieties, each of which is suitable for a slightly different use.

Blue Carpet is a fantastic variety with bright blue foliage. The colour is deep and reliable. This juniper is a great ground-cover that mainly spreads to sides and does not grow tall.

Grow juniper in any soil, including chalky, that is not boggy. It will tolerate drought. Fully hardy to -40°C (USDA zone 3).
