The hotel is located centrally, above the Rhine, between the 'Schwarzwald” and the 'Vogesen” and within 1 hour driving time to Basel or Strasbourg. It is surrounded by the 'Kaiserstuhl” and the 'Rhine”, in the warmest and the most southern wine-growing district in Germany.
The monastery rooms were built in memory of the Capuchin Monastery. All furnishings and the oak parquet floor are waxed and the walls are covered with lime to make them breathable. The beds are former monastery beds, the window in the bathroom was a cabin window. All rooms are adapted to the needs of disabled guests.
You can enjoy your breakfast in the breakfast room between 07.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. Here you will find home-made jam, fresh sausages and cheese, eggs in every variation, freshly baked bread, juices and a cereals corner.
We offer a restaurant with terrace where you can relax in an unique surrounding with view to 'Kaiserstuhl”, 'Tuniberg” and 'Schwarzwald”. You can also enjoy excellent wines from 'Kaiserstuhl”.
Our hotel provides a recreation area with sauna, red light cabin and a solarium. The warm colours will remind you of the sun and the sea. You can also enjoy the Indian Ayuli-Ayurveda therapy. These attractions will ensure a perfect relaxation.
