Tata Tiago is now available with a range of safety features as standard across all its variants. With starting price of Rs 4.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the XE Revotron petrol variant, Tiago hatchback is one of the largest selling cars of Tata Motors.

Tata Tiago is available in five trims -- XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ Plus. Tiago XT and XZ come with automatic option as well. Safety features like dual airbags, ABS (Antilock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and CSC (Corner Stability Control), and rear parking sensors are standard across all the variants of the hatchback.

Also, the popular hatchback now comes with safety features like speed alert system and driver and passenger seat belt reminder. Besides, there will be seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters.

Tata Tiago gets two engine options. There is a Revotron, 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with multi-drive modes. The engine makes 85 PS and 114 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and gets an option for a 5-speed automatic trim. There is also a Revotorq, 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine with multi-drive modes. It churns out 70 PS and 140 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is no option for an automatic transmission with the diesel variant.

Tata Motors has already started new dispatches of Tiago. The company is also working on the Tiago facelift and it has already been spied testing.
