Blake Lively Celebrated Taylor Swift's Birthday in an All-Leather Look With the Highest Slit

In case you missed it, last night was Taylor Swift's birthday party, which meant that her A-list pals all came out to fête their bestie, including Blake Lively, who wore an all-black, all-leather look that included the highest slit to showcase a pair of spotlight-stealing boots.

While Swift channeled her Midnights era (literally) with a celestial LBD, Lively went full-on Matrix, choosing a sleek and stealthy black leather Michael Kors Collection dress with a tank silhouette (with a few corset details, like under-bust seams and contouring panels) and a midi length. The dress's hip-high slit showed off striped tights and Lively's Christian Louboutin boots, which had Victorian-inspired buttons and loops and came up past her knees. She finished off the monochromatic look with a gold Chanel bag, a wrist full of gold jewels, and thick gold hoops. She wore her signature blonde hair down and blown out and swiped on a deep berry lip color to add to the party vibes.

Lively and Swift's friendship is the stuff of celebrity legend at this point. The duo, along with Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds, have summered together in Rhode Island, and back in 2020, Swift even revealed the name of the couple's child in her song "Betty." She included the names of Lively and Reynolds's other daughters, Inez and James, in the lyrics. 

Swift made her bday into a multi-night affair. On Tuesday night, she partied with Selena Gomez, Miles Teller, and his wife Keleigh at one of her go-to spots Zero Bond. Despite rumors from earlier this week, Swift's "big yeti" boyfriend Travis Kelce sadly had to skip out on the festivities because he had football practice in Kansas City. However, something tells us that the lovers will find time to celebrate soon.
