Description:
1. Branchlet with male strobiles (catkins) on the lower section of the new growth - 2. Two female strobiles (cone-inflorescences) at the top of the new growth and conelets at the top of a branchlet of the previous year. - 3. Branchlet with conelets and terminal winter bud in fall (with part of the needles removed). - 4. Cone. - 5. Conescales (seedscales) with seeds. 6. and 7. Conescales without seeds: from lateral (6) and dorsiventral (7) aspects with seedprints on the inner (adaxial, a), and outer (abaxial, b) sides - at the latter those of the scale below. - 8.
