  Thanks Ferdy! He was veery cooperative, basically stayed on that one perch as I climbed up the hill to a point above him, then walked back down, getting ever closer and talking photos every meter! Posted 2 years ago

The Bronze-tailed comet

The bronze-tailed comet is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is monotypic within the genus ''Polyonymus''. It is endemic to scrub and forest-edge at altitudes of 2,100–3,400 m in the Andes of Peru.
