Juniperus horizontalis 'Golden Carpet' A slowly growing selection of the Creeping juniper with a dense prostrate form. The characteristic feature is yellowish-green coloration of the roller-like, creeping buds. Over many years it can reach 0.15m in height and 1.5m in diameter. Grows well on every kind of soli. Prefers a position in a full sun where coloration becomes intense. Recommended for rockeries, as a ground covering plant. Looks extraordinary grafted on a trunk.
