Bahnhof Murnau mit alter Lok

The ideal starting point for many hikes in the "Blue Land". The train takes you from Munich to Murnau in just 1 hour. The trains run very often, usually every half an hour. The Staffelsee can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes. The same applies to the center of Maurnau and the Gabriele Münterhaus.

Stands at the station forecourt of Murnau. The small electric locomotive drove from 1922 to 1977 the route between Murnau and Oberammergau and then went into retirement.
Since 1997 she stands as a monument in Murnau.

I love this monument because I know this E-Lock still in action on the route Murmau - Oberammergau.
