Gittersteg Breitachklamm

Here is the lower entrance to the Breitachklamm. After walking a few meters into the gorge, you will reach the ticket booth.

The Breitachklamm is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter season. In the summer season it is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed for a few weeks in spring and autumn. Entry costs 4.50 euros for adults and 1.50 euros for children.

Along with the Höllentalklamm, it is the deepest gorge in the Bavarian Alps and the deepest rocky gorge in Central Europe. Every year around 300,000 visitors go on the 2.5 kilometer long hiking trail through the gorge (Wikipedia).
