Hiking Highlight
Location: Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Breathtaking waterfall (little sister of the Plitvice Lakes or Krka waterfalls), but unfortunately even more extreme touristy exploited for my taste. Several inns and snack bars are lined up directly around the waterfall, so that visitors don't have to walk a meter too far to get their food or drink - a pity, that could certainly have been solved differently!

Very beautiful and overall quiet, idyllic and natural hiking area.

Parking above the waterfall is not a problem. You can get down on foot or by train. We recommend the footpath (almost 400m😉). Below the waterfall there is a water amphitheater with a diameter of 120 meters (swimming allowed/cold).
The waterfall itself is semi-circular, 120 m in diameter and approximately 28 m high, depending on the water level. There are lots (too many) restaurants on site, as well as boat and kayak rentals. The route/path to Mali Kravica is worthwhile. The small waterfalls are directly below the motorway bridge and, in contrast to the large waterfalls, you are alone here. From 4:30 p.m. it was comparatively quiet for us. The entrance ticket is valid for one year and the fortress of Duke St. Stefan above Ljubuski (you drive through...).
