Go-To Makeup Skin Prep For Oily Skin💧🧴
Hi babes, i’m here today to share my skin care routine before i apply any makeup. My skin is very oily but i sometimes have dry spots due to eczema.
A common problem for my oily skin girlies is that our base makeup tend to pill or separate. Therefore, it is better to have a simple skincare routine, especially for those with oily skin, as a complicated skincare may cause the makeup to separate.
The most important step to a long lasting base makeup is skin care. I will use a cold toner along with thin cotton pads to prep the skin. A cold toner helps to reduce heat and helps the foundation last longer.
Next, i apply a thin layer of moisturising cream with a spatula and makeup sponge. It is important to let it absorb into the skin before using a sponge to lightly pat away any excess oil. You can apply repeat the step on areas that cracks easily such as the nose and eye area.
After your skin absorbs the cream, you can move onto sunscreen. Apply a normal amount of sunscreen and let it absorb into the skin before applying your makeup.
