Vifa - Basis 2.0 - Speaker set

2 High End self-built speakers from the Audio Components team from Oss. I have built these speakers myself with professional help from Speakerland in Oss. The Vifa Basis 95 was the top model from the self-build programme at the time in 2005. Because these speakers are so big, a large listening room is a requirement. The German trade magazine Stereoplay has classified these speakers as “Spitzenclass II”; the stereo reproduction is beautiful, the speakers do make your listening room a lot smaller, but you will get a concert hall in return. If you screw off the drivers, you can sand the cabinet again and choose a finish/colour that matches your interior. The speakers are identically built; one midrange speaker has a small stain (see photo) . The other speaker has some visible wood filler residue on the left side (see photo) ; you can sand this off if you think it is ugly.
