Broadly round normal shrub with many shoots, 2-3 (5) m tall and wide; twigs lying broadly on the ground and taking root, develops like a thicket with runners, fast-growing

Yellow twigs in late winter and early spring, yellow-green in summer; cut back to the ground often to give twigs their conspicuous colour
