In recent comments, Jennifer Lopez has praised Tracey Anderson, her personal trainer, for supporting the 54-year-old through her body dysmorphia after the singer gave birth to twins.
The artist recalled how she was struggling with her body image after that pregnancy.
She made the comments at the Daytime Beauty Awards, where she presented Anderson with an award for Outstanding Achievement in Fitness and opened up about the personal barriers Anderson helped her overcome.
"I met Tracy right after I had my twins," Lopez said at the podium.
"I called her at a time when I was feeling insecure and uncertain, wondering if I would ever get back to how I was before, as most new moms do after giving birth."
When did Jennifer Lopez have twins?
She gave birth to Maximilian and Emme Muniz in 2008, who were fathered by her then-husband Marco Antonio Muniz, a successful tropical salsa music artist with four-Grammys to his name.
The couple divorced in 2014 and Lopez has since married Ben Affleck in 2022, taking her fourth husband.

Lopez has lived a fast and chaotic life, being catapulted into stardom from as early as 1997 and she has had a series of high-profile partners too.
Now aged 54, the New York native seems to be entering a period of self-reflection as she enters a new chapter of her life alongside Affleck.
"I've been doing a lot of reflection lately, revisiting the past versions of myself to fully embrace the me of now," she said.
"I'm reminded of how much Tracy has inspired and encouraged me to celebrate every version of my body over the years and to continue to elevate as my own life and needs changed.
"She came into my life and helped me embrace the new me and help me to be and to realize that I could be stronger than I ever had before."
