Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson has landed her match of the day - by marrying Wales soccer manager Chris Coleman.

Blonde Sky Sports presenter Charlotte, 36, walked down the aisle to marry the ex-Fulham and Blackburn Rovers star.

The pair met when Charlotte interviewed the Wales international boss after he won a golf tournament in Portugal.

They have been engaged for two years after Chris popped the question while on a beach break at Rhossili on the Gower, South Wales.

And the pair finally tied the knot in a small family ceremony at Charlotte's family home in the Hampshires.

Chris, 44, said: "In my career I was always known as a player who punched above his weight and I think I've done that with Charlotte.

"I'm absolutely delighted."

Charlotte and Chris were due to get married last year but the wedding was delayed because she "wasn't organised enough".

The pair have had a child since, Charlotte giving birth to a little boy Finlay at Christmas.

Charlotte and Chris only set a date for their wedding three weeks ago - and she had to rush to get a dress.

She went for a large white dress - to make a change from the "slinky ones" she wears to parties and awards ceremonies.

The pair were planning to have Chris's daughters from his first marriage as their bridesmaids.

Charlotte and Chris are planning on honeymooning in the states - visiting California and Las Vegas.

It's the second time Chris has been married - he split from his first wife Belinda in 2011 ending their relationship of 19 years.

Charlotte changed her name on Twitter following the wedding on Saturday.

Her brother Richard said: "Great day for all - we lost a Jackson and gained a Coleman."
